We found my parents and drank to that! Dinner that night was at Kwong shop seafood and it was delicious. Off the main road and down a quiet meandering street the owner is a real character. Mum and dad picked the fresh red snapper they wanted and it was placed on the BBQ, one garlic and one sweet and sour, amazing!
Monday meant Big Buddha was next on the list. It is epic. My parents got blessed by a Monk. I love buddhism and all it’s morals. It’s a way of life that brings mindfulness and peace and i would like to follow it more.
We visited the Kata night market and I bought the cutest boho bangle and some flower headbands for my summer festival wedding. 👰🏼👰🏼👰🏼whatiwore was a white Zara embroidered dress with my 70s satchel bag .
Yesterday took us on a speed boat to an untouched island, 🌴 Koh Raya Yai. It’s a twin island off the coast of Phuket and a paradise for divers. Being minute, you can walk around the whole place through coconut groves and grazing water buffaloes.
There is an abundance of wildlife here and a colossal monitor lizard greeted us at our jungle hut. A few cute domestic cats and chickens relax around too. The snorkelling here we have found to be the best. Richard saw a lionfish and the yellow striped sergeant fish are cheeky but magical.
Dinner was again amazing! There are only a few restaurants on the island and you have to walk down jungle paths to find the little hamlet area. We shared roast chicken and garlic cabbage with fried rice, yum! What did I wear last night?? Well, my Whatiwore was my spotty Jumpsuit by topshop and my old faves the ‘saltwater sandals’ in original black.
In a few days we say gooobye to my parents and continue our honeymoon on Koh lipe.
Btw, I also won the connect four 😂
