Haha I just realised I didn’t blog about what we did and where we went for my birthday in May…. OMG!!

Let start with ‘Rules restaurant‘!!! The oldest one in London apparently with walls full of horse riding medals and stuffed animals (not that I appreciated that bit at all).

It has a long history of popularity with writers, artists, journalists and actors, serving traditional British food.
We started with a cocktail. Their mixologist only offers ten cocktails as “long lists confuse people”. I opted for the ‘Kate Middleton‘ and I think it the best I’ve had. It’s a mixture of gin and vodka with sugar candy. It was purple with a bright red cherry on top!

For food, I chose duck with hazelnuts and gooseberries with dauphinois potatoes, delish! Richard went for steak and kidney pie with amazing pastry!!!

Dessert was also epic! I went for coco brΓ»lΓ©e with chocolate pistachio shortbread and Richard had golden steamed pudding with custard. It was all washed down with a gorgeous rosΓ© (obvs). We were well and truly stuffed!!

The day after we had tickets for Blossoms band in Kentish Town forum. We had some pre-drinks in the local pub first then off to watch the boys.
While I was in the pub, Look magazine contacted me asking me to do a shoot for hair and makeup. So to top off my birthday, the day after the gig I got pampered all day and even given some gold GHDs!!!
What a fab birthday!!! Can’t believe I forgot haha
