The Festival editβ˜€οΈπŸ’ƒπŸΌπŸ‘’πŸ•ΆπŸ‘’πŸΊ

I am a massive festival fan. I’ve been to festivals in the UK, America, Aus and beyond!! Coachella, Falls, V-fest and Glastonbury to to name a few. We even choose to have our wedding as a three day festival in Wales.

The main reason for a festival is of course, to cram as much music as possible in and see new artists, but I do also love the whole atmosphere of drinking outside with your mates and of course glitter.

The other thing I love is the outfit planning!! You have a lot to cover from rain and sun (especially if you opted for a good old UK fest) to casual or glammed up…. exciting!! The whole toiletry/beauty department takes a lot of thought too.

Our next festival will be Nos alive near Lisbon so I’m hoping it’s a sunny one. Anyone who been to this festival can shout out some tips if they like as we are first timers!

Firstly on the style front, you can’t beat trusty old vintage Levi’s denim shorts. They are my go to with converse or hunter wellies in the UK. Them or some short dungarees but these may hold you back in the lovely festival toilets…

That brings me to hand sanitiser… I always take this! I’m the one the people ask for post toilet trip haha

Face masks pre and post festival, Superdrug Β£3.49

Back to the fashion… sunnies and a hat are always good. I love a fedora or straw hat with the denim shorts and maybe a nice vintage blouse or slogan tee.

Cute boho or vintage dresses are always cool with a pair of boots. And, if you want a bit more glam you can always make your dress or top the centre of the outfit by choosing sequins or metallic.

Beaded bag, TopshopΒ£26

Bardot dress, TopshopΒ£26

In the UK you’ll always need a good rain coat or in my case a denim jacket with raincoat on top as I’m always freezing. I’ve been know to take a fur scarf or coat too.. that’s how cold I get.

Newlook mac, SALE Β£24.49

Don’t forget socks! Socks for boots and converse always!

On to the beauty…..don’t forget the old suncream and moisturiser. If it’s a hot one, along with drinking it can take its toll on skin. Im loving Superdrug’s face fluid as it doesn’t block pours.

Face suncream, SuperdrugΒ£3.49

I get the worst under eye bags ever because I sleep really rubbish so with alcohol on top of that they are sooooo puffy. Try some under eye patches for the morning after the night before πŸ™‚

Under eye patches, SuperdrugΒ£8.00

And of course, a bright poppy lipstick will always distract and disguise eye bags/hangovers!

MAC lipstick, Asos Β£17.50

I think washed my hair once half way through at Glastonbury and put it in to plaits. The rest of the time was dry shampoo and salt spray.

Salt spray, Superdrug Β£5

To finish, here’s a few of me at festivals:

I look forward to picking out my Nos Alive outfits in July!!!
