From Margate to Whitstable πŸ‘™β˜€οΈπŸ¦

Last weekend was Richard’s birthday! We stayed at ‘The Rose hotel’ in Deal and it was amazing. You can read my blog about that here!

On the Sunday, the breakfast at ‘The Rose‘ was amazing! They have lots of interesting choice like ‘The Scandi breakfast‘ of boiled eggs and salmon and ‘steak and eggs’.

After brekkie we decided to head off to Margate. I’d always wanted to visit here as I’d heard about it’s little vintage stores and instagramable houses, so being 30 minutes away we decided to stop there!

Maybe it’s because it was a Sunday and November time but it just wasn’t doing it for us. The sun was trying to shine but it was deadly quiet and I was disappointed. I can imagine during the height of summer, the seaside is bustling and there’s more going on but we decided to move along.

We drove a bit further up the road and stumbled across Whitstable. It was fab! Quaint, gorgeous pastel cottages and amazing boutique shops! not to mention the cute harbour with seafood restaurants galore!

We walked along the sea front, past coloured beach huts and stopped at ‘Wee willy winkles‘ . After grabbing scampi, prawns and of course chips (they were gorgeous by the way) we headed back to London! What a fab weekend!
