Sezane is a brand I’ve only become familiar with in the last year but tried to ignore it as it’s not the most budget friendly for me. However, lately I have bought two of their pieces. My idea (excuse) is that I want to invest in my fashion picks and if it means spending a bit more, for good quality pieces that I can wear season after season, then so be it!
Firstly, I fell in love with the brand because it’s French (no brainer), it is full of embroidery (a fave of mine), pretty blouses and dresses and it is vintage inspired (another fave of mine)! It was born online but in recent years has been able to open shops, the latest being a section in Selfridges which is just beaut. I visited the Notting Hill branch and it’s decor is to die for. Full of vintage furniture, bohemian rugs and dried flowers….I could’ve stayed all day!
So what have I invested it??? My first purchase was an embroidered knit which I had my eye on for a while. Its a beautiful white jumper with pink and blue daisys embroidered on to it. I will treasure this forever and wear it over and over.
Jumper, Sezane, £90
Basket, ASOS (AFFILIATE LINK) £30
Satin skirt, Newlook (AFFILIATE LINK) £17.99
Converse, Office (AFILIATE LINK) £52.99
The second piece I bought was in the latest Spring collection. It is a tiered cream dress, again with amazing embroidered detail all over it. I cannot wait to wear it in Italy in May and repeatedly every Summer!
Dress, Sezane £120
So there is my love story with this brand.Check them out HERE!!!
