And in with the new!
I wanted to share some new brands to me that I have recently discovered and also, how they are trying to be sustainable which is something shifting the whole fashion industry lately.
First up, the beautiful brand ‘Aurore Van Milhem‘. I don’t really need to speak about this if you just take a look at the blouses she produces. It’s a french ‘made to order’ brand of stunning candy coloured blouses, tees and dresses. check them out here:

Next up, a lovely new discovery which I think is very ‘With JΓ©an’ but without the price, ‘Silk and Stars‘. Love the name too! Born only in 2017, from a lady wanting to design her own high street picks ( I’d looove to do that!), they do beaut dresses and shell jewellery. Also, they are trying really hard to be sustainable with most of the packaging from recycled material and don’t include unnecessary itemised receipts in there send outs. Check them out:
Next, designed in London and inspired by vintage from the 60s through to the 90s, Sacredhawk has become a fave of mine. I recently purchased one of their pieces from ASOS which was a silky mandarin style dress. They also have a collab with Topshop so you can shop them there!

A little company I’ve been following for a year or so, who is very much in to sustainability is ‘Fonott‘. They produce stunning bags including baskets and pouches in exclusive prints. They only restock when things are sold out to decrease waste and they source vintage scarves to make their pouches. They are all for sustainable brands to the point they are keeping the business small and a one man band ! Find them here:
Studio b is a company I came across a few months back. They launched in 2017 and are packed with colour and great brands! If you want to invest in a piece, I’d go here! PS they have a summer sale on!
A little jewellery company who I have mentioned before, ‘Selkie sheffield‘. I came across them on Instagram and year or so ago and I just loved their Beachy vintage inspired necklaces! They are all unique handmade pieces! Find them here:

Fanclub have just relaunched themselves. If you don’t know them you should! Two sisters who strive to be sustainable as they bring you the best vintage style tees and epic art print work. They use cotton (way better than polyester!) and use water based ink to make the prints ( way better for the environment!). Their packaging is also zero plastic!

This print donates Β£5 to ‘Mind’ for every purchase!!!
And lastly, the sweetest, cutest lady with a fab vintage store (obvs sustainable) Called ‘Cats eyes vintage‘! She has an eye for THE best vintage slip dresses and sells on ASOS marketplace and Depop so go check her out!
If you have any new or small business brands you know of please let me know! May fave thing is finding newbies!!!
