Boscombe and Bournemouth ☀️👙

Last weekend we decided to spend the day at the seaside. We both worked on Saturday and so we only had Sunday to go but the weather turned out beautiful and I wish I’d popped a bikini in now!

It was about a two and half hour drive from London and we stopped off at Boscombe first as a friend had recommended it as a quirky surfer town. It was stunning! Pure white/golden sand and colourful beach houses!

It was packed as expected! We wanted to get a coffee on the beach front but there was a cue so we strolled a bit further up the hill and in to town (it’s hilly as there are cliffs) and came across a cool surfer type cafe. A mint tea and a latte later we moved on to Bournemouth.

I made a few outfit changes during the day as I wanted to get some shots with a nice background but if there’s one thing I wore all day and that you need this summer, it’s the Saltwater Sandals. They are a little pricey but mine have lasted years and are sooooo comfy! You also need a shell necklace just to add to the boho surfer vibe haha ( more pics coming soon on IG)!

I’m pretty sure I went to Bournemouth as a kid with my parents and nanna but I can’t remember it. Of course there’s a pier like a typical UK seaside town ( which you don’t actually appreciate until you see the flocks of foreign tourists loving it and then you realise it’s quite cute and also iconic!). There were stunning gardens and flowers all the way back from the beach in to the town.

I’d made a picnic to take which we ate up high over looking the gorgeous stretch beach.

After a stroll around the town, the sun was shining so we stopped for a glass of wine in a funky bar restaurant called ‘Urban garden’. It’s on all different levels with great outdoor space which was lovely to enjoy a wine!

I wish we could’ve stayed longer to explore! And if you have any other seaside town recommendations for this summer, pleeeeease let me know!
